How To Play

Exploration, puzzle-solving and survival are the core elements of gameplay. As you make your way through the school, you need to answer three math problems to earn each notebook. The first two questions are simple, but the third eventually becomes impossible, prompting Baldi to aggressively chase you.

Movement is done with standard PC keys (WASD) and mouse (look around and interact with objects). Sprinting is constrained by stamina so players need to conserve resources. Players must also employ items scavenged around the school — like soda cans or scissors — to get out of tight spots, add an extra layer of strategy to the intense chase.

Sound is vital. Baldi is sensitive to noise, so running, opening doors or moving carelessly may give away your location. He gets faster as you get more things wrong, making it quite a bit more difficult.

Beware of the School Characters

Baldi is not the only danger. The school’s infested with strange characters that interfere with your movement:
