Kiomet – is a real-time strategy game in which players will face off in multiplayer to form the largest and most powerful kingdom. Kiomet is a continuous game, as opposed to the traditional strategy game, where you play it turn by turn. Players need to think fast in responding to enemy troops, taking control of strategic points, multitasking task of managing their expanding empire and holding off invasion from competing kingdoms.
The gameplay is based on expanding ones territory, upgrading buildings and fishing for resources. Players also have to guard their king, the single most important unit in the game. You are immediately defeated upon the loss of your king, no matter how much land you have.
The blend of frantic and in-depth strategy gameplay is what makes Kiomet interesting for casual and hardcore strategy fans alike.
The goal of Kiomet is to take control of towers to expand your kingdom and the map.
Start by sending units to neutral towers to gain new ground. As your kingdom takes hold, you can capture enemy-held buildings and spread your control over the battle field.
It is just as necessary to upgrade key towers. Effective fortifications can lock down critical positions and vital supply lines. To develop your kingdom effectively you will need to make your supply line between towers more efficient and let it function on its own then, eventually, hand your kingdom a break from constant managing.
Defending your king should always be a top priority. A Guarded King can withstand enemy onslaughts while you are expanding your army in other areas.
Diplomacy, too, has a part to play. Temporary alliances with other players can open up new possibilities for expansion and reduce threats from getting ganged up on immediately.
one of the best aspects of Kiomet is how it’s both easy to pick up and yet extremely deep strategically. Novice players can learn the basics in a matter of minutes, while experienced players can devise complex strategies involving expansion, defence and diplomacy.
